So, it’s late at night and I’ve been doing some thinking.
In the leaked trailer we see Peter Parker apologizing to Tony Stark while crying.
In the official trailer, we see Tony crying and looking very sad. Peter is also choke slammed by Thanos.
What if Peter dies in IWar?
Now hear me out:
In set pics for A4, we see Thor and Cap in their old costumes. Cap also has no beard and Thor has long hair and both eyes. We also see Tony in a SHIELD outfit.
What if Peter dies at the hands of Thanos in IWar. Tony needs an emotional drive, like the death of his protege *cough* son *cough cough*. Other characters may die as well. Maybe Cap or Thor, which is why we are seeing the old versions of them. My theory is that using the time stone, Tony and some other heroes go back in time to stop Thanos/Save Peter and others. The pics look like they are from the time of A1. SM: Homecoming takes place 8 years after the events of A1. Peter would be around 7 years old in A1. If they went back in time, he would be no help.
In the end, Peter would come back to life, hence Spider-Man 2.
