as much as i love the concept of shuri and peter parker being best friends, let’s not fill her entire tag with her and peter geeking out. like let’s also appreciate shuri for shuri without sidekicking her to a white guy. don’t get me wrong, i really do think her and peter would genuinely be great friends as (in the mcu at least) they have similar qualities, but black women in film are rarely given their own moments without it being eclipsed or paired with a white guy. so yeah, this hc is great but don’t forget to like shuri just for being shuri.
